I am the Appleton City Junior/Senior High School counselor. I have an Education Specialist Degree in School Counseling from the University of Central Missouri, and this is my 22nd year in education. It is my mission to meet each student's academic, social, and emotional needs. I am here to assist students in overcoming challenges that interfere with learning and to ensure all students have equal access to a counseling program that is comprehensive and developmentally appropriate. I am available to visit with students and parents by appointment and by walk-in. I make every effort to follow the counseling guidelines in the American School Counselor Code of Ethics. I am a member of the Missouri School Counselor Association and the American Counseling Association. I hope your experiences at Appleton City Junior/Senior High School are positive. School is a challenging but exciting time in your life, and I am here to help you in any way I can.

Meet the Counselor
New This Year!
This 2014-2015 school year, the Missouri State Board of Education has approved the administration of the ACT to all grade 11 students in Missouri public schools. The test will be given April 28, 2014, to juniors at during the school day at Appleton City High School, at no cost to the students. Students may also choose to take the ACT on the regularly scheduled Saturday dates at other locations. However, test fees will apply to those tests taken outside of school.
